His real name is Barney Finkleberg he acts like a gentleman and ladies man but is really nothing more then a con artist and a shyster, he spoke in a fake French accent his moustache was also fake and his hair was really a wig, he had come to cowtown to sell hair tonics that he claimed could cure baldness and grow hair but they were really just bottles full of sugar and water, he was also a dishonest swindler as when paying the train yard worker he retrieved the coin he gave him with a magnet and when playing poker against mayor bulloney he cheated. He also tried to steal Lily Bovine's secret sarsaparilla recipe.
